The Ichthus, or Greek word for fish was adopted by early Christians as a secret symbol. In present time it is known as the "sign of the fish". These Anglican Prayer Beads feature an Ichthus cross. Fish are given symbolic meaning throughout the Gospels and several of Jesus' 12 Apostles were fishermen. In Mark 1:16-18 he commissioned them with the words "I will make you fishers of men".

The green agate stones paired with natural rosewood flow in your hands, it is easy to go from one bead to the next while meditating on prayer. These prayer beads feature 33 beads to represent the time Jesus spent on Earth, they are durable and lightweight with an organic appeal that is grounding and comforting to hold.
